Several large wagers have seen one bookmaker slash its odds on Rachel Stevens winning the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
With the popular BBC1 competition starting on Saturday, William Hill has reduced Stevens from 9/2 to 4/1, as the 30-year-old star is thought to have an advantage due to her former career as a pop star.
"All the rumours are that Rachel is miles ahead of the competition and punters are piling on," the betting firm's spokesperson Rupert Adams explained.
Stevens revealed earlier this week that she has postponed her wedding to fiance Alex Bourne in order to take part in Strictly Come Dancing.
Ladbrokes also prices the former S Club 7 member at 4/1, making her joint favourite alongside Holby City star Tom Chambers.
Meanwhile, the One Show's Christine Bleakley is available at 9/1, while those fancying a long shot can get John Sergeant at 100/1.
Paddy Power makes the political broadcaster 13/8 to be the first dancer voted off the show, with Rising Damp actor Don Warrington a 5/2 bet.
