Odds cut on Ramos exit as Spurs lose again
Tottenham Hotspur's 2-1 defeat at home to Aston Villa last night has seen one bookmaker slash its odds on Juande Ramos departing White Hart Lane.

The former Seville manager is now 9/4 to leave Spurs before the end of the season with William Hill, which also offers 14/1 on Ramos becoming the next Premier League manager to leave his job.

With Alan Curbishley and Kevin Keegan already gone, the firm's spokesperson Graham Sharpe suggested that several top-flight managers could be feeling the heat.

"There was a time when it might be regarded as premature to talk about a manager's future after just a few games of a new season - but that is no longer the case," he commented.

Spurs entertain Wisla Krakow in the first leg of their opening Uefa Cup tie on Thursday night, before another home game against Wigan Athletic on Sunday.

The north London outfit are 12/1 with stan james to win the Uefa Cup this season, while Ladbrokes makes Ramos' side 25/1 to be relegated from the Premier League.
