Odds cut on Lunghi after top score
Cherie Lunghi has moved from 14/1 to 6/1 at William Hill to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing after an impressive performance on Saturday night.

Despite being the oldest female in the competition at 56, the actress wowed the BBC1 judges with a sophisticated foxtrot which received a total of 33 points - the highest score of the evening.

With hard-to-please judge Len Goodman praising Lunghi and partner James Jordan for "the best dance of the night", William Hill has described her as a "genuine contender" to capture first prize.

Rugby star Austin Healey remains favourite at 3/1, with former pop singer Rachel Stevens and Holby City's Tom Chambers both rated at 7/2.

Meanwhile, Ladbrokes makes Lunghi 3/1 to finish as Strictly Come Dancing's top female, while Jodie Kidd and Jessie Wallace are outsiders in that betting market at 16/1.
