Odds on Andy Murray winning the Masters Cup have shortened following his dramatic victory over Roger Federer in Shanghai today (November 14th).
Knocking the Swiss star out of the tournament with a 4-6, 7-6, 7-5 win, Murray will now face Russia's Nikolay Davydenko in the last four on Saturday.
For punters betting on tennis, Murray is favourite to win the competition at 5/4 with Paddy Power, while William Hill offers 9/2 on the British number one lifting the trophy without dropping another set in Shanghai.
However, those predicting a good start for Davydenko in tomorrow's clash get odds of 4/1 on Murray failing to win his first service game.
Speaking after today's victory, Murray told reporters: "I'm going to be a bit tired tomorrow but a win over Roger Federer means almost as much as winning the Masters Cup to me.
"To win against him and have a record like I do is awesome."
Ladbrokes makes Novak Djokovic second favourite for the Masters Cup at 15/8, with Davydenko a 5/1 bet.
