Odds on Robert Karlsson winning the European Order of Merit have shortened following his victory at the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland last week.
With four events remaining, the Swedish player is the European Tour's top money earner this season on 2,540,248 (£1,977,049), while his Ryder Cup team-mate Padraig Harrington has amassed 2,397,823.
Karlsson is now 8/11 to win the Order of Merit with William Hill, which offers 9/4 on Harrington, 6/1 on third-placed Lee Westwood and 33/1 on Miguel Angel Jimenez, who is currently in fourth.
A good finish at the Madrid Masters, which starts at the Club de Campo on Thursday, would see Jimenez add to his 1,990,609 and climb the table.
Paddy Power makes the Spaniard second favourite to win the tournament at 10/1, with Germany's Martin Kaymer leading the field at 9/1 after his runner-up finish at the Dunhill Links.
Argentina's Angel Cabrera, the 2007 US Open champion, can be backed at 12/1, while recent British Masters champion Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano is priced at 25/1.
