Haskell in, Croft out for England
England manager Martin Johnson has resisted the urge to press the panic button in the wake of his team's 14-28 defeat at home to Australia last Saturday (15th November).

He has made just one change to the starting XV for the forthcoming test against South Africa, with Wasps' James Haskell - who made a favourable impression as a second-half substitute against the Wallabies - replacing Leicester's Tom Croft at blind-side flanker.

However, Johnson is confident that this will be enough to beat the reigning world champions as England iron out their mistakes.

"We are aware of the mistakes we made and have spent this week trying to correct them," he commented.

"Last week we were still growing into the way we're playing and it only takes a momentary lapse for things to break down.

"There were plenty of opportunities out there, we just need to see them and then exploit them."

People betting on rugby can get odds of 21/10 on an England win from Betfair, with South Africa at evens and a draw priced at 33/1.

Meanwhile, former England player Jeremy Guscott has criticised the Twickenham crowd in his BBC column for booing Australian kicker Matt Giteau when lining up attempts at goal.ADNFCR-1740-ID-18882997-ADNFCR
