Fowler in Blackburn squad for Arsenal visit
Robbie Fowler could make his Premier League debut for Blackburn Rovers tomorrow after agreeing a short-term pay-as-you-play deal with the club.

Blackburn boss Paul Ince confirmed today that the former Liverpool striker will be in his squad for the game against Arsenal at Ewood Park, with Ladbrokes making Fowler 10/1 to open the scoring.

"It is not so long ago he was banging in the goals at Anfield. I believe he can still do it at this level," Ince stated.

Meanwhile, William Hill has opened a book on how many goals the 33-year-old will score during his initial three-month spell with the Lancashire outfit.

The chances of Fowler failing to find the net are rated at 5/4, with one goal 6/4 and two or more 5/2.

England's midweek hero Theo Walcott is also 10/1 to score the opening goal with Ladbrokes, although Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to rest the teenager following his exertions in Croatia.

Samir Nasri is unlikely to feature for the north Londoners after missing France's game against Serbia on Wednesday with a knee problem.
