Sir Alex Ferguson is set to name a much-changed side when Manchester United take on Middlesbrough in tonight's Carling Cup third-round match.
The manager told United Review that youngster Danny Welbeck is likely to feature in the game at Old Trafford, although Angolan forward Manucho will have to wait for his debut after failing to recover from a foot injury.
Ferguson is also planning to include several big-name players who have recently returned from injury, such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Owen Hargreaves.
Ladbrokes offer 6/1 on Welbeck, the 17-year-old striker who impressed playing for the United reserves last season, scoring the first goal against Middlesbrough.
Fresh from his cameo appearance as a substitute in Sunday's 1-1 draw at Chelsea, Ronaldo is 7/2 with Paddy Power to open the scoring.
United are clear favourites to win tonight at 8/15, although the European champions were knocked out of the competition at this stage last year, when Championship side Coventry City won 2-0 at Old Trafford.
A Middlesbrough victory is available at 5/1 and a draw 11/4.
