Daniel Evans has been installed as the bookmakers' favourite to be voted off The X Factor this weekend.
William Hill cut its odds on the 38-year-old crooner leaving the show to 7/4 after receiving a string of bets on his exit this week, while Ladbrokes offers 6/4, despite the fact that he has so far avoided being placed in the bottom two acts.
Those odds are potentially bad news for Dannii Minogue, who is Daniel's mentor on the popular ITV1 show.
William Hill spokesperson Rupert Adams commented: "Daniel obviously has a loyal fan base but he is the worst singer and I have to agree with punters who think he will be on his way."
Meanwhile, Spanish-born Ruth Lorenzo - another of Minogue's over-25s group - is second favourite to be voted off with Ladbrokes at 3/1.
The betting firm makes 17-year-old Diana Vickers, who is in Cheryl Cole's group of female finalists, favourite to win the competition at 9/4.
