A large number of early white Christmas wagers have seen William Hill cut its odds on festive snow this year.
The bookmaker revealed that snow in Glasgow at Christmas is a particularly popular bet at the moment, with many punters rushing to put their money on before the festive season begins.
Odds on a white Christmas in the Scottish city have been reduced from 6/1 to 7/2 at William Hill, while snow in London and Manchester on December 25th remains a 6/1 bet.
"We are seeing a number of shrewd punters getting on early in the hope that prices will shorten in the next few weeks and so far the tactic is working well," commented Rupert Adams, spokesperson for the bookmaker.
Meanwhile, Paddy Power is offering some international white Christmas odds, with New York priced at 13/8, Paris at 8/1 and Barcelona 12/1.
In terms of the Christmas number one betting market, the X Factor winner is the 1/10 favourite at Ladbrokes, with Take That priced at 14/1 and Girls Aloud at 20/1.
