'Terrified' Healey backed for dancing success
Austin Healey is the new favourite to win this year's Strictly Come Dancing, despite admitting he was scared stiff during his first performance on the show last week.

The rugby star, who topped the BBC1 programme's leaderboard on Saturday following an impressive waltz with partner Erin Boag, is now 3/1 with Ladbrokes to win the competition.

Comparing his successful dance debut to playing rugby with concussion, Healey said afterwards: "It was one of the most terrifying experiences of my entire life."

He added: "There's nothing in your head, you're just going by pure instinct."

Ladbrokes makes Holby City actor Tom Chambers second favourite at 7/2, with former pop singer Rachel Stevens a 4/1 bet.

Actor Phil Daniels became the first celebrity to be voted off the show last week after he and partner Flavia Cacace failed to impress the judges.

Two other former EastEnders stars are favourites to be next for the boot at William Hill, with Gillian Taylforth rated at 7/4 and Jessie Wallace 11/4.
